These delicious french style rolls are light and airy with a crispy french style crust. Perfect for Thanksgiving or leftover sandwiches afterward!
One of the best things about Thanksgiving would have to be the rolls. They are an essential staple at Thanksgiving dinner. These french style rolls have an airy, crunchy exterior with a soft and light interior.
The recipe comes from Sally of Bewitching Kitchen. I’m surprising her this month as part of the Secret Recipe Club. Sally is an amazing baker and makes some incredible bread recipes which she says are her specialty. I would have to agree!
What are your plans for Thanksgiving this year? We are spending Thanksgiving with our family here. It will be a small intimate gathering with just the kids and us. Although we wish we could be spending our weekend with family far away, it will be nice to have our immediate family together for a fun weekend. We have a surprise planned for the kids, so sssh, don’t tell!
Hopefully your plans take you to family and friends. We are grateful to be surrounded by friends in this area and look forward to spending time with them.
One of our favorite traditions would have to be after Thanksgiving when you make up sandwiches with the leftover turkey. I plan on making these sandwiches and putting some lettuce, provolone cheese, turkey and a spoonful of our slow cooker cranberry sauce.
Make these delicious french style rolls up this weekend and they will stay good until the big day.
