These grain free chocolate waffles taste amazing and are perfect for breakfast or as a dessert!
Mother’s Day is just around the corner. I seriously don’t know where time has gone. Wasn’t Easter like, yesterday?
I still have my Easter decorations up. My husband keeps asking when I’ll take them down.
I tell him as soon as I find the box they go in. But the box is probably somewhere underneath the gallons and gallons of paint and caulk I’ve been using these past few weeks trying to freshen up our house.
Since I’m not done with the painting, I probably won’t find the box anytime soon. Which means the Easter decorations aren’t going anywhere for awhile.
In my attempt to get the house finished and freshened up, I’ve let meal planning and other household chores fall by the wayside. Meals I make are simple and easy.
We made these freakin’ cute (guess which of my children came up with that phrase? Yes, the dramatic preteen one) Mother’s Day gifts that are in the mail now.
You can make these too! Head to Target and pick up a two pack of milk bottles for only $3. (We found our’s in the One Spot and they included the straws and lid). We put a bar of chocolate and a gift card inside. Yes, your Mom may need some tools (aka pliers) to get the gift card and chocolate BACK out of the bottle, but it’s the cuteness of the gift that counts. And remind her that the best gifts are the ones you work the hardest for.
From my husband of course I want chocolate!! These chocolate waffles are grain free chocolate waffles, made with pecan flour which when combined with chocolate is amazing! I’m not a huge fan of the grain free stuff but I get a lot of email requests for it so I dabble in it a little bit. These are waffles you will love! We made our’s with Enjoy Life Chocolate Chips. A perfect breakfast in bed for Mom. I hear if you print the recipe out, put a big heart and lot’s of arrows pointing to it and tape it to the bathroom mirror that he will most definetely, definetely get the hint that you want these waiting for you on Sunday morning when you wake up.
