The other day I shared my frustration at the kids not eating what I was making. We had so much wasted food, and I hated that!
I took away the electronics and even their own personal books and swapped them out for some cookbooks.
The kids then had to come up with two weeks worth of meals with a healthy kids meal plan. Here is what they came up with:
Tuesday: Spaghetti, spaghetti squash as a side or as noodles
Wednesday: Pumpkin Pie French Toast Casserole, Eggs, Fresh Fruit
Thursday: Meatball Hero Subs, Salad
Friday: Stuffed Sausage and Cheese French Bread, Cooked Broccoli
Saturday: Taco Soup
Sunday: Lasagna with garlic bread and salad
Monday: Meatballs, Brown Gravy and Brown Rice, Salad
Tuesday: Baked Macaroni and Cheese Balls, Homemade applesauce
Wednesday: Homemade Hamburger Helper, Salad
Thursday: Chocolate Zucchini Muffins, Fresh Fruit, turkey sausage
Friday: Pizza Night!
Saturday: Baked Potato Soup, Salad
Sunday: Chicken and Rice Casserole (Recipe coming Monday)
