Healthy Kids Meal Plan

The other day I shared my frustration at the kids not eating what I was making. We had so much wasted food, and I hated that!

I took away the electronics and even their own personal books and swapped them out for some cookbooks.

The kids then had to come up with two weeks worth of meals with a healthy kids meal plan. Here is what they came up with:

Monday: Tacos (One of the kids wasn’t excited about taco night AGAIN so we jazzed up the tacos with these taco boats. You can also make zucchini taco boats.

Tuesday: Spaghetti, spaghetti squash as a side or as noodles

Wednesday: Pumpkin Pie French Toast Casserole, Eggs, Fresh Fruit

Thursday: Meatball Hero SubsSalad

Friday: Stuffed Sausage and Cheese French Bread, Cooked Broccoli

Saturday: Taco Soup

Sunday: Lasagna with garlic bread and salad

Monday: Meatballs, Brown Gravy and Brown Rice, Salad

Tuesday: Baked Macaroni and Cheese BallsHomemade applesauce

Wednesday: Homemade Hamburger HelperSalad

Thursday: Chocolate Zucchini MuffinsFresh Fruit, turkey sausage

Friday: Pizza Night

Saturday: Baked Potato SoupSalad

Sunday: Chicken and Rice Casserole (Recipe coming Monday)
