Tis the season for spring holidays! I am soooo excited. The snow has been reduced to little tiny little white spots on the side of the road that get smaller and smaller each day I run by them. Spring is here and today as a member of the Secret Recipe Club we’re celebrating spring holidays with a bunnies and leprechauns celebration.
Today I’m highlighting I Am a Honey Bee. I’ve had the pleasure of highlighting her in the past and am excited to share some of her best recipes for the spring holidays with you. Today I’ll be sharing another breakfast recipe–whole wheat carrot cake waffles with a maple cream cheese drizzle. They were delicious and the kids loved that they thought they were eating what bunnies ate. (Elaborate stories of how the Easter bunny eats the same thing to get a child to eat orange stuff in their food is completely and totally acceptable. It works).
