Fall is here and I feel like this time of year I’m constantly making food for games. Basketball season has arrived and my TV is tuned to a college football game, a basketball game, or an NFL football game at any given moment.
Oh, and the World Series. But that’s over and none of my favorite teams went so it had little appeal.
But the food does. Because ESPN gets a workout this time of year, so does the food being served.
And while traditional game time grub isn’t always considered healthy, this meal combines the traditional game time finger food with a healthy sweet and smoky flavor.
We served our smoky maple drumsticks with a side of rice and some salad.
