When I started on this whole gluten free journey, I remember someone recommending Blake’s Gluten Free Chicken Pot Pies to me. I had tried A LOT of expensive gluten free frozen dinners and didn’t have much hope for an inexpensive $3 pot pie.
What I found was the pie was not only amazing, but I fell in love with the buttery flaky crust. My problem was my children did too.
I started to branch out and bought them the beef and turkey pot pies and they fell in love with the puffy, flaky pot pie crust and delicious meat and vegetables.
One of the things that I love about these pot pies is that they include a generous portion of meat. You aren’t just eating vegetables with a hint of chicken, there are delicious large pieces of chicken throughout the pie.
And the crust! It’s the best crust I’ve ever tasted, especially if you are eating the gluten free version. You will fall in love if you have to eat gluten free.
What I love about Blake’s Turkey and Beef Pot Pies (and the gluten free ones too) are that they are made from scratch in small batches, and use only the finest organic and all-natural ingredients. And the pies retail for $3.99 or less at major retailers.
