A Personal Thank You From Me

April 14, 2022 by burntapple Leave a Comment

I can’t tell you what it means when I see a sale on my website goes through. It means the world to know that I solved a solution to a problem that someone was having. That they felt confident enough in me to solve this problem for them. And I want to make sure that I show my appreciation for how much it means to me.

    Meaning Behind a Handwritten Note

Writing a handwritten note is a way for me  to show appreciation and show that you taking the time to search out and purchase something from me means a lot.

Handwritten notes are meaningful because they:

    • Are rare to send.
    • Show your customers that they are worth something.
    • Often cost more than sending an email, sending a text or sending a message through social media.
    • Handwritten cards have permanence.
    • You are adding a personal touch in a world that has become so  reliant on technology and impersonalization.
    • A handwritten note engages more of the brain of the reader.

Ways Online Small Businesses Can Show Thanks to Customers

As a small business owner you are constantly fighting larger businesses. Having that connection and personalization with your client is imperative.

In addition to an automated thank you cards, online small business owners can show thanks to their customers by:

    • Offering discounts for repeat customers: How about 10% for first time purchases? Or 20% off for second time returning customers, etc.
    • Offering special sales or loyalty programs for repeat customers: Example: A sneak peek sale for new products to those who have purchased from you before.
    • Adding a free product to a purchase: It could be something as simple as free socks with a full outfit purchase or throwing in a surprise free product.
    • Membership Savings: Getting free items or savings for buying a membership or upgrading an existing membership to offer extra perks.
    • Giveaways: Giveaways can be a great way to give away one larger gift to customers, but also build your base of customers as well. Example: Giving away a large gift basket at the holidays.
    • Meet n’ Greets: Customers love knowing that there is someone behind the computer screen. To get out and show physical appreciation to a person is important. Example: Book signing, product demonstrations or customer appreciation parties.
    • Recognize their important dates: Do you own an online wedding store? Send a card showing you remembered their anniversary!

At the end of the day, your customer is who keeps you in business. It’s important to keep that relationship with them and there are simple and easy ways to do that. And it all starts with a simple automated thank you cards of appreciation!

    About Me

minimal ingredient recipes with five ingredients or less and ready in under thirty minutes! many recipes are gluten free, dairy free and FODMAP friendly too!

I've been making over recipes since I was ten. Back then I wasn't so great at it and created everything from rubber cakes for my Dad's birthday to rock muffins that put a hole in the wall.

Diagnosed with colitis ten years ago and with three young children I had to learn to cook. But life was busy and there wasn't a lot of time to cook or figure out what I could eat!

Burnt Apple became my personal coffee shop--a place to share, talk and vent! I share minimal ingredient recipes with five ingredients or less and ready in under thirty minutes!

Welcome home...to a REAL home! One that is busy, on the go and doesn't have time to sit all day in the kitchen!

So stop in, find a copycat restaurant favorite you've been craving or a tantalizing treat! Bite into a slice of fresh warm bread or find a quick weeknight meal.

All of our recipes include adaptations for a variety of different dietary needs. Most of our recipes are gluten free and many are dairy free and FODMAP friendly too! All recipes are easily labeled for you.

Stop in and stay awhile! And don't forget to chat and let me know what recipes you've been craving lately!
