Making Biscoff French Toast
Today's recipe comes courtesy of my husband. He loves biscoff. He makes graham cracker sandwiches out of it and has even smeared it on slices of toast. It is fun to watch my son and him dunk little biscoff covered graham crackers into milk while chatting about basketball. But his best creation has definetely been his recipe for biscoff french toast.

Gather the necessary ingredients
To make this sweet breakfast treat, you'll need a few easily obtainable ingredients. Be sure to gather the following items before getting started: 12 slices of thick white bread, 4 eggs, 1 cup of whole milk, ½ cup brown sugar, Biscoff spread, and 2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon.
Beat eggs in a shallow dish before adding Biscoff spread for the custard-like french toast mixture
Start by beating the eggs in a shallow dish. Once the eggs are mixed, add the ground cinnamon, brown sugar and milk. Finish by mixing up the french toast mixture.
Soak bread in egg mixture, flipping to coat both sides
To begin making French Toast, take each slice of bread and dip it into the egg mixture. Carefully flip the piece of bread over to coat both sides. Let the excess mixture drip off before placing on a preheated skillet or griddle over medium heat. Cook until lightly golden brown on both sides (about 1 to 2 minutes per side). Serve topped with your favorite syrup, enjoy!
Heat a skillet on medium-high heat and add butter or oil
Once the skillet is hot, you can begin cooking the Biscoff French Toast. You’ll want to make sure that you use enough butter or oil to coat the entire surface of the pan. This will help prevent sticking and ensure that your French Toast doesn't burn. Cook until lightly golden brown on both sides (about 1-2 minutes per side). Serve with your favorite syrup and enjoy!
Toast each side of french toast until golden brown and serve topped with Biscoff spread and your favorite toppings!
When the French Toast is done toasting on each side, it’s time to serve! Spread Biscoff spread over the top of the French Toast and add your favorite toppings. Maple syrup, icing sugar, banana slices or dark chocolate curls are all delicious options! Enjoy your sweet and creamy French Toast before heading out into your day!

Where would I find biscoff spread? I have never heard of it. Is it a nut?
I have been able to find biscoff spread at my local walmart. It's usually in the peanut butter aisle. It's actually a cookie, not a nut. 🙂 The cookies are ground up and made into a spread.
I know that you can find it on Amazon if that helps http://www.amazon.com/Biscoff-Spread----14-oz/dp/B005IZHXGG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1332967061&sr=8-1
