They're back with their sweet little eyes and smiles. Some entice you with samples, balloons and homemade signs. And their innocent voices ask you so nicely if you would like to buy some girl scout cookies today.
I've had plenty of objections throughout the years that I swear the girls get trained on overcoming.
OBJECTION #1:
"I'm pregnant, the thought of cookies makes me sick right now. I'll pass."
--"Just give it a few months. My mom CRAVED these cookies when she was in her second trimester."
Yup. I craved thin mints by month 5.
OBJECTION #2:
"I only brought card today. Sorry!"
--"I have the ability to run debit or credit if you would like."
I bought more boxes than I ever would have if I had cash.
OBJECTION #3
"I'm on a diet."
--"You can buy 1 box, place it in the freezer and pull it out and thaw the amount you want to eat and still stay on your diet!"
Darn girl scouts. They think of everything don't they?
OBJECTION #4:
"Not today, thanks!"
--"Has your little girl ever had girl scout cookies? Would she like a sample?"
Crap. After a sample I ended up buying four boxes for the three year old who went away screaming from the samples for more cookies. She had to sit the boxes on the seat beside her while we shopped.
OBJECTION #5:
"I have food allergies."
--"We just came out with some gluten free options. We don't have them here in our market, but you can order them online and put in Troop 23429834208457211."
Or at least that's what it sounded like. My headed started to swim when I heard they had allergy friendly cookies. Hurray!
However.....
For the majority of us though the major issue is that there just aren't ENOUGH girl scout cookie flavors in allergy friendly options.
So, today I'm finding you places you can order or buy allergy friendly girl scout cookie options. Yes, there are PLENTY of sites that offer options to MAKE your own girl scout cookies. But the majority of us don't have the time. So here is where you can grab them on your way home from work tonight.

I tried the mint slims and they tasted sinfully good. The downside they were melted, stuck together, a real mess. They were so good I didnt care, but you couldnt serve them to anyone. I got them at walmart.
