Continuing on this week on our Superbowl recipe list is something a little sweet but still good for you. Cinnamon sugar nuts are an easy grab and go dessert. A few of these curbs your hunger with the higher protein content. But the sweet helps satisfy your sweet tooth!
We love how good they are at Christmas time too. Remember those delicious nuts you smell cooking at the mall? Yup, these smell just like that--only in your house! Which makes your house smell amazing!

Cinnamon Sugar Almonds
Ingredients
- 1 large egg white
- 1 tbsp water
- ½ cup sugar
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 3 cups raw almonds
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- In a mixing bowl, whip the egg white and water on medium speed until the egg white becomes frothy. (This will typically take around 2-3 minutes).
- In a separate small bowl, mix together the sugars and cinnamon. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, mix together the almonds, and finished egg white mixture. Stir to coat. Toss with the cinnamon sugar mixture and continue stirring approximately two minutes until all almonds are coated.
- Pour the almonds onto a lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 17-22 minutes, stirring half way through cooking time.
- Remove nuts from the oven and allow to cool before removing from cookie sheet.
- Store in an airtight container.
