Preparation
Clarified Butter
Clarified butter is made by melting the butter than scraping off the top foam part. You will use that part to make the wings.
And then...
Just mix the butter, parmesan cheese, oil and garlic then roll the wings and drums in the mixture and cook.
Cooking
You can make these wings three ways: air fryer, deep fryer or oven baked. Wingstop makes their wings by deep frying.
Deep Frying
To make the wings in the deep fryer, preheat oil to 300 degrees. Fry wings and drums for 12-16 minutes until crispy on the outside. Remove wings from oil and allow to drain on a paper towel lined plate for several minutes before serving.
Air Fryer
Preheat air fryer to 380 degrees. Arrange wings in the air fryer and cook for 12 minutes at 380 degrees. Flip the wings and cook for 12 minutes more. Remove from air fryer and serve.
Oven Baked
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Bake the wings for 25-30 minutes or until the wings are crispy on the outside.
Copycat Gluten Free Wingstop Garlic Parmesan Wings and Drums
Ingredients
- ½ cup (1 stick) butter
- ⅓ cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil or melted coconut oil

Instructions
- Melt butter in saucepan over low heat. Do not stir while butter is melting. Once the butter has melted, remove the butter from the heat and scoop the solids off the top of the butter and discard. - Stir the butter, parmesan cheese, oil and garlic powder in a bowl.
