Today I have the most AMAZING recipe for eggnog frosting.
Eggnog frosting is so good when smeared over the top of a gingerbread cookie. I've put it on gingerbread cookies, cupcakes, and a spoon. Little fingers may have swiped samples when I had my back turned. It's way over the top and sends buttercream frosting packing. (Although white chocolate buttercream is a close second).
This frosting tastes absolutely incredible and brings a whole new dimension to traditional buttercream frosting. Try it out this holiday season!
Eggnog Frosting

- Pinch of cinnamon
- Additional eggnog for thinning if needed
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, stir together all ingredients on low speed until blended. Turn mixer to medium and whip for 2-3 minutes until light and fluffy. Add additional eggnog one tablespoon at a time for thinning if needed. Frosting will frost 12 cupcakes or 24 cookies.
