Fart cookies have become a family favorite in our house. You can see we've been making them for years! We even include some allergy friendly alternatives so anyone can make and eat these!
Fart cookies (aka no bake cookies) have been a long time favorite at our house. The kids have been helping me make them for years. The eating them part is the part I wish we could work on. There is something about that oatmeal and peanut butter that gives these cookies their name.
My son is now learning to cook at school. He came home completely disappointed the other day because his cookies didn't turn out in time to eat them.
So when he got home from his Dad's this weekend, we whipped up a batch to eat. If you have never had fart cookies, definetely make a batch. They only need a few ingredients and a few minutes to make and set up.
this weekend was busy but relaxing at the same time. We had a big snowstorm and I learned that I might need some lessons in how to use the snowblower.
My mom came into town and i got to watch my favorite pirate in her first high school play. She's a pirate in Pirates of Penzance. (I can't begin to tell you how happy i was that she was a pirate and not a daughter). The hair is much easier to manage as you can see.
We watched a disappointing but exciting first tournament game for my son. They lost by three! Oh the nail biting when you watch them hit up a shot from the three point line hoping to tie and go to overtime. Luckily it's double elimination so fingers crossed for Saturday.
My boyfriend and I bored my mom to tears for part of Saturday as we both had tests to take for our classes. I don't think my boyfriend enjoyed my "whoopee!!" celebration after taking MY LAST TEST FOR SCHOOL EVER!! Poor guy has one more semester after mine before he finishes.
Today the dog got her stitches out and she was so happy until they started to itch and bother her as the day went on. We treated her to some of my boyfriends delicious world famous popcorn and a little piece of bacon with her medicine to help her feel better. She rewarded us by sandwiching herself between us for lot's of head scratches and back rubs the remainder of the day. A two hour nap recharged all of us before I headed home to pick up the kids and make fart cookies.
And now as i write you she's happily curled up nice and warm on her favorite blanket while trying to let me know that she requires more head scratches and me less working.
