"i only order a drink at red lobster, because i love their cheddar bay biscuits so much."-author unknown

Red Lobsters biscuits are beautiful cheddary biscuits with a hint of garlic. They started serving them as "fresh baked hot cheese garlic bread." The biscuits became so famous that Red Lobster now sells cheddar bay biscuit mix at stores.

If you have food allergies though, you can't enjoy the biscuit OR the mix. You just get to drool as servers walk past you with those amazing smelling biscuits.

And silently seeth. But there is a solution! You can now have a nice hot buttery biscuit that's ready in under 30 minutes!

    Butter

You are welcome to substitute dairy free butter in this recipe. It works well. We used Earth Balance.

    Cheddar Cheese

If you can have dairy, you are welcome to use regular cheddar. If not, there are many good dairy free brands that you can substitute. You'll want shredded cheddar cheese.

    Buttermilk

Our recipe calls for one cup buttermilk. You can use one cup of dairy free milk, taking out one tablespoon of the milk and replacing it with one tablespoon lemon juice or white vinegar added.
