Red Lobsters biscuits are beautiful cheddary biscuits with a hint of garlic. They started serving them as "fresh baked hot cheese garlic bread." The biscuits became so famous that Red Lobster now sells cheddar bay biscuit mix at stores.
If you have food allergies though, you can't enjoy the biscuit OR the mix. You just get to drool as servers walk past you with those amazing smelling biscuits.
And silently seeth. But there is a solution! You can now have a nice hot buttery biscuit that's ready in under 30 minutes!

Let's get started then! This recipe is ready in under thirty minutes and only needs a few ingredients!

Five Ingredient Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuits
Ingredients
- 2 cups self rising flour
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder, cayenne powder and parsley flakes
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup buttermilk
- ½ cup + 2 tablespoon butter, divided
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Melt the butter, then set aside. In a mixing bowl, stir together the self rising flour, ½ teaspoon garlic powder, ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper and shredded cheese. Stir in ½ cup melted butter and the 1 cup buttermilk and stir just until combined. (You will use the remaining 2 tablespoon melted butter in a minute!)Lightly grease a ¼ cup measuring cup or scoop. Scoop the dough ¼ cup at a time onto a lightly greased cookie sheet, leaving several inches of space between biscuits. Bake at 425 degrees for 12-15 minutes, or until biscuits are golden brown. Remove from oven and immediately brush biscuits evenly with the remaining butter, then sprinkle a little bit of garlic powder and parsley flakes on top.
