There are over 100,000 kids every year in Foster Care that need good homes and families. I know this because I was ready and willing to adopt one. Twelve years ago I was told that it would take us years to get pregnant given some of the health conditions I had. It didn't, but the thought never left me that I would've willing taken that route.
For years I took care of special needs children who lived in the hospital due to health conditions. Even today I enjoy the work that I do with these amazing foster care children through my education and work. There are many children who need the love and attention of great caring parents. And the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption® is one of those foundations that works hard to find good families for children. The goal of the foundation for the past 22 years has been to help every child in foster care find a loving, permanent family through their Frostys for Families program.
