I get excited to fire up the grill and get outside. It's summer and I love the summer season. We eat outside most nights on the patio. The oven gets to take a break and it's refreshing to spend long days at the pool and with the kids.
This summer is a special one as it brings a lot of changes--mostly bittersweet. But I'm staying positive and trying to stay focused on what's important in my life right now with the inklings of new beginnings popping up around me.
Anna of Cheese with Noodles knows all about grilling. Her website is full of amazing summer recipes! Today I'm featuring Anna's recipes as a member of the Secret Recipe Club. Anna lives in Alaska with her husband, bunnies, cats, hamster, her dog, and a puppy. She has a full house!

Today we're making a delicious grilled honey mustard chicken. The flavor combination is spot on and tastes amazing! And don't forget to scroll down and see what other members have been making!
Ingredients
- 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- ½ cup dijon mustard
- 6 tablespoon honey (this is 6 tablespoon altogether)
- ½ tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 3 tablespoon mayo
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Lightly sprinkle both sides of the chicken with a little bit of salt and pepper, then place chicken in a gallon sized Ziploc bag.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the mustard, honey worcestershire sauce and mayo until smooth. Pour ½ cup of the solution into a small bowl to use for basting, then another ⅓ cup into another bowl to use for dipping sauce. Cover and refrigerate the basting and dipping sauces. Pour the remaining sauce into the bag, seal and knead the bag to coat the chicken. Refrigerate the chicken until ready to cook (about 8 hours).
- When ready to prepare chicken, preheat the grill to medium. Arrange the chicken pieces on the grill evenly, then allow to cook for several minutes on each side until cooked thoroughly. Baste the chicken while cooking with the ½ cup basting sauce. Once chicken is cooked, remove from the grill and serve with the dipping sauce.

I'm glad you like it! I'm planning to make this one again soon 🙂 You're the second or third person to pick this recipe for SRC, that's happened with a couple other recipes, too. Makes me worry if most of my recipes are awful or something 😀

Never Anna, it seriously looked amazing. I served it with the greek pasta salad for the kids (I have a gluten intolerance so made it with the mixed veggies you see pictured). Thanks for a great recipe, I will be making it again!
