    Healthy Chocolate Bark

    What an easy and delicious recipe for healthy chocolate bark! This is the perfect fix for those nights you want some chocolate! Chocolate bark is a delicious and easy-to-make treat that is perfect for any occasion. It is also a great way to sneak some healthy fats and antioxidants into your diet. This recipe uses dark chocolate, which is a good source of flavonoids, which have been shown to have a number of health benefits.

    Making Healthy Chocolate Bark

    Chocolate bark is relatively simple to make. I made up my batch while I had dinner cooking on the stove. It's simple and easy!

    Ingredients

    • 12 oz dark chocolate chips
    • Desired Toppings
    • Wax Paper

    Directions for Making Your Healthy Chocolate Bark

    1. Place chocolate in a microwave safe bowl and melt at 30 second intervals in microwave at 50% power until smooth.
    2. Pour the chocolate onto the waxed paper and smooth to a little more than ⅛ of an inch thick. Sprinkle desired toppings over the chocolate and with your hands press the toppings into the chocolate to set.
    3. Put the chocolate into the refrigerator and allow to set for 30 minutes to an hour.
    4. To serve, break the chocolate into pieces.

    Tips and Tricks for Making the BEST Chocolate Bark!

    • For a more decadent chocolate bark, you can use chocolate chips with a higher cocoa content.
    • If you want to make a larger batch of chocolate bark, you can use a 9x13 inch baking dish.
    • You can also add additional toppings to your chocolate bark, such as sprinkles, chocolate shavings, or crushed candy canes.
    • Chocolate bark can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
