Sometimes you just need some Italian Seasoning. It's great for flavoring chicken and adds a great dimension to plain ol' boring cooked brown rice. Perfect for sprinkling on a pizza or over garlic bread....vegetables. The possibilities are endless.
There are many great recipes floating around the web for recipes using an Italian Seasoning Mix packet. But some of the packets in the store are filled with ingredients you can't even pronounce! This is a great recipe for those days that you want to make an easy and simple meal or side dish. Or for those days that you reach into the cupboard knowing you have a packet and then it isn't there and you are left scrambling.
To make it feel more like an authentic Italian seasoning mix packet, you can even package them in some handy dandy packet bags found at your local restaurant supply store or craft store.
