I'm SO excited for the Superbowl. I have to admit NONE of my favorite teams are making it to the Superbowl this year so I've got to go with Plan B--the food. And the commercials. And the spirit of the game.
But let's just face it I'm more about the food.
If you know our family you know that the Superbowl is the single most important holiday next to Christmas. It is the ONE day a year (after Thanksgiving) that we break out the stretchy pants and I acknowledge that there are no calories, fat or sugar overload that are counted on this holiday. Planning our Superbowl Sunday meal takes time, preparation and attention to all the courses. The Superbowl menu is rolled out in stages during the game.
