Perfect Bar + My Morning Workout and This Weekend

Published: Oct 1, 2017 by burntapple · This post may contain affiliate links · Leave a Comment

Most mornings I am off to the gym before the sun comes up. The dog now barely moves her head when I get up. During the summer she comes to attention, knowing if it's morning that means we are heading for her morning jog before the sun comes out and it gets too hot. Now with the dog days of summer behind her, she lazily waits until the weather warms up, knowing her turn doesn't come until afternoon or early evening when the temperatures are at least decent.

So since I'm an early morning workout person, I grab protein bars as I walk out the door. This time I tried Perfect Bar. The peanut butter coconut had to be my favorite, but I love these 100 calorie bites too. They are perfect for those mornings I just need a little bit of food to get me moving. Perfect Bars are amazing as on the go snacks, or as a meal. Each bar contains a host of good for you ingredients and nutrients and store easily in the refrigerator.

This weekend was a lot of fun. I'm so excited that the corn mazes and farms are opening. Last night we went to one near us. They had silo slides, potato sack slides, a petting zoo, paintball shooting and corn cannons. I wasn't too fond of the goat farm. It was a little smelly. Okay a lot. I thought I might die from the smell.

But T and C loved swimming through the corn. I climbed in and it was knee deep! The kids loved trying to swim through the corn. The oldest two complained a lot but ended up having a lot of fun. Mom wins!
