I can officially get excited that it's SUMMER season! That means it's time for barbeques, picnics and lot's of fun in the sun!
I love that the kids are out of school and get to spend their days relaxing and enjoying all that summer offers them. These summers won't last long for them until they will be busy with summer jobs and responsibilities.
Today we're celebrating the season with a barbeque and picnic theme party! As a member of the Secret Recipe Club, today I'm highlighting Jamie of Our Eating Habits.
Jamie has some fun and unique BBQ recipes. Some of the recipes that I found that I liked:

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- ½ cup BBQ sauce (we used Stubbs)
- 1 tbsp dried minced onion
- 2 tbsp packed brown sugar
- ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can biscuits (we used Immaculate Baking)
Instructions
- In a skillet, cook ground beef until meat is browned. Drain meat and then place meat back into the skillet.
- To the skillet add the BBQ sauce , onion, and brown sugar. Stir until combined.
- Lightly grease 8-10 muffin tins. Roll each biscuit with a rolling pin to flatten, then place each one in a muffin cup so the dough comes up the sides. Fill with beef mixture.
- Top each muffin cup with cheese. Bake for 12 minutes at 400 degrees. Remove from oven and allow to cool for several minutes before serving.
Wow! You dug deep, that one is am oldie! I'll have to make them again, our kids really liked them!
