Sometimes the inner child in me just wants to enjoy a fun breakfast from time to time. This easy quinoa breakfast is packed with protein, whole grains and lot's of delicious fruit! But I didn't need to tell myself that. I just liked the pretty colors. Sometimes even little old me needs to get out of a food rut. Eating rainbow fruit in a jar? That helps.
The other day on the radio I overheard a conversation on what people have eaten for years. Talk about a food rut! One Maryland man claims he has eaten nothing but cheese pizza for 25 years of his life. Another man claims he has eaten a 940 calorie Big Mac everyday for the past 30 years. Still others claimed they have eaten a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for lunch everyday for six years. The list went on and on and on. In fact, I even found a TV show dedicated to the crazy things that people have to eat everyday.
I'll admit. I am a total cereal and salad girl. I could live on a salad or sandwich for lunch and a bowl of cereal for breakfast. But staying in a rut isn't something that I can do long term.
Is there something that you have to eat everyday? Do you think you might suffer from this addiction?
