    Cold Weather Sparkling Drink

    A beautiful cold weather sparkling drink filled with your favorite fall and winters flavors like apple, orange, cranberry, pomegranate and cinnamon.  (Gluten free, dairy free, nut free, soy free, eg free, vegan, vegetarian, FODMAP friendly option)

    Serving A Sparkling Drink

    This drink is perfect for:

    • A cold fall or winter night at home
    • Small gatherings or parties
    • Large holiday gatherings, parties or events

    Serve your drink in beautiful stemware for fancier events or for more casual events serve it in a mason jar or mug. 

    Ingredients

    Sparkling Beverage

    The star of the show is going to be the sparkling beverage you use. Choose from: 

    • Sprite
    • Sparkling water
    • Champagne
    • Sparkling apple cider

    Pour that sparkling water into a pitcher and then add your choice of mix ins. Let it sit for one to several hours before serving. 

    Mix Ins

    So many fun and festive fall and winter mix ins are available to add into this recipe! 

    • Apple slices
    • Cinnamon sticks
    • Fresh cranberries
    • Fresh pomegrantes
    • Orange slices
    • Lemon slices
    • Star anise

    Can I Serve This Buffet Style?

    Absolutely! This would be wonderful to serve at a party! You can arrange the different fruits and vegetables in a spread along with a variety of sparkling beverages both alcoholic and non alcoholic. Then party goers can fill up there glasses with whatever options they want. It would be a beautiful holiday spread! 

    I Have Stomach Issues. Can I Still Enjoy This Drink?

    If you are looking for a FODMAP friendly (or stomach friendly) option, the best bet would be to make this with sparkling water or Sprite. According to the Monash Food App, stomach friendly add ins would be fresh cranberries, star anise, cinnamon sticks, orange slices, and lemon slices. Mmm…a cranberry orange sparkling water sounds amazing right now!
