Yes, I've heard that song sung at least a million times. No, probably a million and one times.
Our summer has been an exciting time. We got to find new homes for six little puppies. They were absolutely adorable and so much fun. But a lot of work. For several days I think I counted to six at least 100 times a day and in my sleep. We were always making sure that there were six little puppies. They have many fun places they like to hide.
These poor puppies have been through everything. They've been buckled up in the stroller (don't want any puppies falling out!), they enjoyed naptime with the kids, and they enjoyed getting lot's of love and play time. Of course, our own pointer is not enjoying it so much. She spends a lot of her day by the back door wanting out with her head on the doorknob. She's amazing, she can hold her head there for forever. We take her on lot's of walks and trips up the canyon and she seems to tolerate them better. Our lab has taught them the art of napping.
And of course, my son has taken puppy sitting to a whole new meaning. I'm not sure who was sitting who. I think the puppies won. Hope you are having a great summer!
