Substitutions
We get that sometimes you're going to need some substitutions to fit your dietary needs. This recipe is easily adaptable no matter what your dietary needs! The recipe is already nut free and soy free but you can make it gluten free and dairy free too!
Yogurt: Typically, greek yogurt is best but you can use a dairy free yogurt if you need to. It works great!
Sugar: Yes, you can use a substitute like Miss Jones Smart Sugar or good old granulated sugar.
Cheese: Dairy free cheese works here too!
Pepperoni: We like using the pepperoni bits but you can also quarter regular pepperonis.
Pizza sauce: This is optional, and for some of my kids it's a must have and others opt to not have it.
School Lunch Pizza Sticks
Looking for an easy lunch for school? We get it! My kids LOVE these cold or you can heat them up in the morning and stick them in their Thermos and they stay warm until lunch time!
Storage
It's SO simple an easy to store your pizza sticks. Just place cooked and cooled pizza sticks in an airtight Ziploc container in the freezer for up to one month, or in the fridge in an airtight container for a couple of days.
