Crock pot chicken ranch tacos are a nice and easy meal! Place your chicken breasts, taco seasoning, ranch dressing seasoning in a slow cooker before heading out to work then set it and forget it! One of the simplest and easiest meals you can make that will be ready for you when you walk in the door at night from work!
Add the chicken, taco seasoning, water, and ranch seasoning packet in a slow cooker. Cook on high heat for 4-5 hours or low heat for 6-8 hours. Remove from slow cooker and shred and mix chicken prior to cooking.
30 Minute Version
For an easy stovetop version, heat a pan on medium low heat on the stove. Cut the chicken breasts into small bite sized pieces. Add one tablespoon of oil to the pan, then add the diced chicken. Cook until almost brown on the outside and cooked on the inside. Add 1 cup water, taco seasoning and ranch dressing packet, stirring to combine. Cook until water has evaporated and mix is evenly coating the chicken. Serve.

LEFTOVERSPlace any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for several days or place in freezer in an airtight container up to one month. Reheat.
