Instructions
Preheat oven according to cake mix package directions. Lightly grease the baking pan and set aside.
In a mixing bowl, stir together the cake mix and soda until smooth and no lumps remain.
Pour the batter into a greased dish. Spread the batter evenly.
PIace the pan in the preheated oven. Bake according to cake mix package instructions.
Bake, remove cake from oven when lightly browned and toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean.
Allow cake to cool completely before frosting.
