½ cup heavy whipping cream can substitute dairy free
¼ cupcold buttercut into tiny pieces
2tbsp sugar
2 teaspoonground cinnamon
1cuppowdered sugar (confectioners sugar)
4tablespoonbutter, melteddairy free can be substituted
1tablespoon milkdairy free can be substituted
1teaspoonvanilla extract
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Lightly grease an 8x8 inch pan and set aside.
In a small bowl, mix together the gluten free flour, baking powder, and salt. Fold in the butter and stir until biscuits are coarse. Add in the whipping cream and stir until dough becomes sticky. (Depending on your flour blend you may need to add a tablespoon at a time or so of whipping cream).
in a small bowl, mix together the cinnamon and sugar. Drop the dough by tablespoons into the sugar mix and toss to coat. Place the dough into the baking dish. Continue until all dough is arranged in the pan.
Bake for approximately 20-23 minutes in a 375 degree oven until biscuits are lightly browned on top, puffed and cooked through. Remove from oven.
Whisk the melted butter and powdered sugar in the bowl. Add the milk and vanilla, stirring until it becomes frosting. Spread evenly over the baked biscuits.
Serve warm.

Biscuits: You can substitute a 16 oz tube of refrigerated biscuits in place of the homemade biscuits in this recipe.
Butter: You can substitute dairy free butter in this recipe.
Milk: You can use dairy free milk in place of the milk.
Flour: You can use any of gluten free flour blend that you want to make the biscuits.
Sugar: You can substitute different sugars in this recipe but this might change the flavor or texture of the recipe.

Can I Use Pre Made Gluten Free Refrigerated Biscuits?I have not been able to find pre made gluten free refrigerated biscuits but if you find them you can absolutely substitute them in this recipe.
Which is Better to Use...Drop or Rolled Biscuits?We used drop biscuits in this recipe. The original recipe uses pre made refrigerated biscuits so for ease we used drop biscuits but rolled biscuits work too.
