Pomegranate Orange Breakfast
There are some flavors that just scream winter and pomegranate and orange is one of those. This meal is so adaptable to whatever you are feeling for breakfast that day. Best part it's only five ingredients or less and takes just a few minutes to make so you're out the door with a hot breakfast in minutes! (GF, DF, SF, NF, Egg Free, Vegan, Vegetarian)
- 4 slices toast
- Cream cheese, mashed avocado, fried egg or sausage links, cooked
- Pomegranate arils, orange slices
- Feta cheese or balsamic vinegar
If cooking sausage, you will want to start cooking it according to package directions. Shortly before the sausage is done cooking, begin to prepare the rest of the meal. If you are topping your breakfast with an egg, begin to cook your egg then begin to prep the rest of your meal.
Place toast in toaster and cook to desired doneness. Remove from toaster and smear with mashed avocado, cream cheese, sausage or egg. You can even use several different combinations if you would like!
Sprinkle pomegranates and arils and oranges over the top. Sprinkle feta cheese or drizzle balsamic vinegar over the top. Serve warm.
Storage: This meal is best served warm same day.
Toast: Use gluten or gluten free toast

Egg: You do not need to use an egg in this recipe so it can be easily egg free.
