Honeydukes treats was first introduced in the "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" book. Today we're making Honeydukes Chocolate Bon Bon treats. Made with a few simple ingredients like peanut butter and crisp rice cereal then rolled into balls and dipped in melted chocolate. (Gluten free, dairy free option, egg free, soy free, vegan, vegetarian, FODMAP)
In a bowl, mix together the powdered sugar, peanut butter and vanilla in a bowl until smooth then beat with mixer on medium high speed until mixture becomes a dough. If needed, add 1 tablespoon of milk or if it's too wet add additional powdered sugar.
Fold in the rice cereal and mix until combined.
Form the mixture into 1 inch balls. Using a fork, dip the balls into the melted chocolate, turning to coat and then allowing excess to drain off. Place the bon bon on waxed paper to cool. To speed up the process of making chocolate harden, you can place the bon bons in the refrigerator for ten minutes.
