Fart cookies, with their intriguing name and simple preparation, have earned a place in the stomachs of cookie enthusiasts. Their chewy texture, peanut butter and oat flavor and rich chocolatey goodness make them a delicious indulgence.
In a large saucepan set to medium heat, bring to a rolling boil the sugar, butter, milk and cocoa. Boil for one minute. Remove from heat and add peanut butter, vanilla, and oatmeal and stir until well blended. Spoon by tablespoons onto waxed paper and let set until cool.
