Roasted Sweet Potatoes with Brown Sugar
Not a fan of overly sweet potato casserole with marshmallows? These roasted sweet potatoes will quickly become a favorite with fresh sweet potatoes, a hint of brown sugar and spices. (Gluten free, dairy free, vegan, vegetarian, egg free, soy free, nut free)

- 4 sweet potatoes, cubed
- 8 tablespoon melted butter can substitute dairy free
- 4 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- ΒΌ-1/2 teaspoon chili powder or cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil. Lightly grease then set aside.
Melt the butter in the microwave or on the stovetop.
Place the brown sugar, cinnamon, salt and chili or cayenne in a ziploc bag.
Toss the potatoes in the butter than place the potatoes inside the Ziploc bag and toss in the coating. Arrange potatoes on the baking sheet.
Bake at 425 degrees for 20-25 minutes, flipping once halfway through. Potatoes are done when lightly browned and fork tender.
