The Infamous Rubber Cake--When Cake is Too Dense and Rubbery

This cake does it's best to yield the most perfect dense, bouncy chewy rubber cake recipe! The great thing about this cake is the cake is too dense and rubbery every time you make it!
½-3/4cup melted butter or oil or milk can substitute apple sauce for a really chewy rubbery version
½cup sugar
1wholeegg
1cupself rising flour or cake flour
1teaspoonvanilla
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease an 8x8 inch pan and set aside.
In a mixer, blend the egg, sugar and oil or butter together until blended. About a minute or two.
Add the flour and vanilla, stirring until blended well. Cake mix instructions usually say 2-3 minutes...I say 7...8?
Pour the mix into the pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes until nicely browned. Remove and allow to cool completely.
Eat plain or frost the cake.

Storage: Um....if you want to store this cake you can. It stores in the fridge for a couple of days covered in an airtight container. Note: Cake is NOT a good replacement for bubble gum. Please do not use in place of a bouncy ball. Disclaimer: Measurements are approximate.
