Preheat the oven, whip up a batch of canine-approved rolls, and watch your four-legged companion’s tail wag with delight with these dog cinnamon rolls!
In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt. In a separate small bowl, mix water, oil, and egg. Add this wet mixture to the dry ingredients and stir until a soft dough forms.
On a lightly floured surface, shape the dough into a rectangle. Drizzle then spread the dough with honey and sprinkle cinnamon. Beginning from one long edge, roll the dough tightly into a log, sealing the edge by pinching it. Using a sharp serrated knife or dental floss, slice the rolls into inch thick pieces. Place the slices cut side down on a baking sheet sprayed with nonstick spray.
Bake for approximately 12-15 minutes until the rolls are springy to the touch.
Notes
For the frosting: Stir together ¼ cup of greek yogurt with 1-2 tablespoons water. Glaze cooled cinnamon rolls. Storing: Cinnamon rolls can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for several days.
