2tablespoonsavocado oilor any high-smoke-point oil
Instructions
Begin by preheating your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for approximately 5 minutes.
While the air fryer heats up, use a paper towel to pat dry the steaks, ensuring any excess moisture is removed.
Evenly coat both sides of the steaks with avocado oil.
Next, sprinkle garlic powder, salt, and black pepper over the steaks, lightly pressing the seasoning into the meat.
Arrange the seasoned steaks in the preheated air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overlapping.
Cook the steaks in the air fryer for 6-8 minutes for medium-rare, 8-10 minutes for medium, or 10-12 minutes for well-done, flipping them halfway through the cooking process.
To check for doneness, use a meat thermometer to ensure the steaks reach your preferred internal temperature:
Medium-rare: 135°F (57°C)
Medium: 145°F (63°C)
Well-done: 160°F (71°C)
Once cooked to your desired level, remove the steaks from the air fryer and allow them to rest for a few minutes before slicing.
Slice the steaks against the grain into thin strips, and they're ready to serve. Enjoy your perfectly cooked air fryer ribeye steak!
Notes
Cooking times may vary depending on the thickness of your steaks and the model of your air fryer
