Place mayonnaise, shredded cheese with garlic powder and parsley (if using), and melted butter into three separate bowls.
Take the frozen ball of dough and dip the top half into each bowl in this order: mayo, butter, and then cheese mixture.
Place the coated rolls onto a lightly greased and floured baking sheet, cheese mixture side up.
Allow the rolls to rise according to the package directions (typically 4-6 hours depending on how thawed the dough is). You may only need to allow the dough to rise 1-2 hours if the dough is fully thawed.
