Instructions
Preheat and Prepare:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Lightly line a baking sheet with foil and spray it with a light layer of cooking spray.
Soak Toothpicks:
Soak toothpicks in water for 5-10 minutes. Meanwhile, prepare the bacon and meat.
Prepare Ingredients:
Cut the bacon into thirds.
Cut the steak and/or chicken into one-inch bite-sized pieces.
Wrap and Season:
Wrap a piece of bacon around each chicken or steak piece and secure it with a soaked toothpick.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper if desired.
Bake:
Place the bacon-wrapped chicken and/or steak on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake at 400°F (200°C) for approximately 17-23 minutes, or until the meat is thoroughly cooked.
Broil:
Turn the broiler to high and broil for 1-2 minutes until the bacon is crispy and browned.
Serve:
Remove from the oven and serve immediately.
Notes
Chicken can be substituted or a combination of chicken and steak can be used if desired.
