Instructions
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 425°F (218°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil and lightly grease it. Set aside.
Melt the Butter
Melt the butter in the microwave or on the stovetop.
Prepare the Seasoning
In a Ziploc bag, combine the brown sugar, cinnamon, salt, and chili or cayenne pepper.
Coat the Potatoes
Toss the sliced sweet potatoes in the melted butter until they are well coated. Place the butter-coated potatoes into the Ziploc bag with the seasoning mixture. Seal the bag and toss to evenly coat the potatoes.
Arrange on Baking Sheet
Arrange the coated sweet potato slices in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake the Potatoes
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, flipping the potatoes once halfway through the cooking time. The potatoes are done when they are lightly browned and fork-tender.
