Peanut Butter and Banana Frozen Dog Treats

These peanut butter and banana frozen dog treats taste great and are great for keeping the dogs cool during the “dog days” of summer.

I’ll admit it. I may have bought those expensive Frosty Paws dog treats that tempt me with guilt from the ice cream section of the store. The dogs love them. And I have a hard time NOT buying them since I feel so guilty getting my own treat and not them one. They’re the ones roasting and panting out there in the heat all day while I enjoy the nice air conditioned cool of the house. So I bought some.

The dogs had so much fun eating them. I thought I could try making my own. For my first batch I froze them in ice cube trays but my dogs are larger and the dogs devoured them within a minute. The one thing I like about the Frosty Paws is that the dogs spend a few minutes eating them. Next time I’m going to try them in my brownie pan. It would make the perfect sized treat for them and give them a few minutes to enjoy the treat.
