Dig your fork into a delicious copycat version of the Cheesecake Factory Oreo Cheesecake! Only this recipe needs just five ingredients! (Dairy free, gluten free, soy free option, nut free, egg free, vegetarian, FODMAP)

    Dreaming of Cheesecake?

Have you missed Cheesecake Factory? Sad that you can't dig your fork into a delicious slice of cheesecake after a meal? Well, not anymore! This copycat cheesecake factory oreo cheesecake boasts just five ingredients including:

    • Chocolate chips
    • Oreos
    • Baking Powder
    • Cream Cheese
    • Milk

How the %@#$ is That Gluten AND Dairy Free??

The beautiful version pictured here in this post is actually from Todd Wilbur's Top Secret Recipes. It's the Copycat Cheesecake Factory Oreo Dream Extreme Cheesecake Recipe. And it is a labor of love but so good! I was able to make it gluten and dairy free but the amount of work put into it was way too much time and effort for when cravings hit! (It turned out beautiful though, right?)

So I went back to the drawing board and came up with a much simpler version ready in under thirty minutes!! (Photos coming soon)

    Substitutions

This recipe (and the copycat version I linked above) had a few simple substitutions:

    • Oreos: Use gluten free Oreos
    • Baking Powder: To make it gluten free, make sure to use gluten free baking powder
    • Milk: Silk Non Dairy Heavy Whipping Cream
    • Cream Cheese: Grab non dairy cream cheese
    • Chocolate Chips: Non dairy chocolate chips work great!

    Ganache

The ganache will be the perfect thickness for this cake! Just melt two ounces of chocolate chips (dairy free substitutions work great!) and stir with two tablespoons of heavy whipping cream to make a nice smooth ganache that will look and taste great on your cake!

    Not Enough Cream Cheese!

Alright cream cheese lovers! If there just wasn't enough cream cheese for your liking, you can spread a thin layer of cream cheese evenly over the top of the cooled cake prior to pouring the ganache. It will give the cake a nice layered fancy look and give you some more cream cheese flavor!

Just make sure to heat the cream cheese for about 10-15 seconds in the microwave then stir prior to spreading it on the cake. Heating it a little makes it nice and easy to spread on your cake.
