This simple and easy white bread recipe is ready in under an hour and so versatile–make rolls, pizza crusts and more!
Simplicity is something that many of us can use. While many of us long for homemade bread and butter, the time and committment it takes can be daunting. I promise you that this White Bread Recipe is not.
Believe me, I’ve tried the simple route with bread recipes. An overnight setting on my bread maker yielded the toughest bread on the planet–not once but multiple times. After several tasteless loaves, I even opted to quit using the bread bake setting on my bread maker.
I’ve tried the thirty minute loaf, the no knead loaves, and even the no yeast loaves. None of them seemed to taste like the homemade bread I remember sinking my teeth into.
When I met this recipe, adapted from the lovely La Fuji Mama, I knew it was perfect. I’ve probably now made hundreds of loaves of bread from this recipe.
Literally. And it turns out every time.
It’s your basic bread recipe, and it tastes delicious! It’s a perfectly airy loaf of bread mixed with a light yeasty taste you’ve come to love in a loaf of bread. Spread some butter and jam on top and your loaf of bread is complete!
