I rarely drink soda, but one day at the movie theater I took a sip of my husband’s dirty root beer. It was amazing! I managed to keep myself to the one sip–okay, maybe three–but he drank the rest of it right up!

You can make your own dirty root beer at home pretty easily. With this weekends football games looming, this refreshing drink will be the perfect thing to accompany you while you are cheering on your favorite team!!

Our family always gets excited for the weekend this time of year. We are big game time fans. Of course, we also get to cheer on our own little guy at his flag football game. He is totally stressing about his defensive game time strategies.  He is hilarious to watch when he is super serious about his game. But it’s fun to have our entire weekend be devoted to sports.

We even have the children doing “team building” activities together this week. Of course, that’s because they’ve been fighting like crazy. We’re still hoping the team building activities will work out. We’ll keep you posted. Last night my daughter had to pick out the clothes for everyone to wear from the laundry pile. She stressed over what we had to wear and accessorized everyone in the family from our shoes to how we should wear our hair.  “For brother I went with the skater look, for me I went with a chevron theme and for you Mom, I went with just a Mom look.”

I LOVE kids.
