    Storing

When stored in the refrigerator in a sealed container, apple cider vinaigrette can last up to two weeks. Make sure to shake well before each use, as the ingredients may separate over time.

    Uses

    • Salads: The most common use for this vinaigrette is as a salad dressing. It pairs well with a variety of greens, such as spinach, arugula, and kale. Add some roasted nuts, dried fruits, and crumbled cheese for a delicious and nutritious salad.
    • Marinades: Use apple cider vinaigrette as a marinade for meats and vegetables. Its acidity helps to tenderize meats while infusing them with flavor. Marinate chicken, pork, or tofu for at least an hour before grilling or baking.
    • Roasted vegetables: Drizzle the vinaigrette over roasted vegetables to enhance their flavor. It's particularly good with root vegetables like carrots, beets, and sweet potatoes.
    • Grain Bowls: Add a drizzle of apple cider vinaigrette to grain bowls for an extra layer of flavor. It complements grains like quinoa, farro, and bulgur perfectly.
    • Sandwiches: Use the vinaigrette as a spread for sandwiches and wraps. It adds a zesty kick to your favorite deli meats and vegetables.

    FAQ

Can I use a different type of vinegar?

Yes, you can substitute apple cider vinegar with other types of vinegar like balsamic, red wine, or white wine vinegar. However, keep in mind that the flavor will change.

Can I add other herbs or spices?

Definitely! Feel free to experiment with additional herbs and spices to customize the vinaigrette to your taste. Fresh herbs like basil, parsley, or thyme, as well as spices like black pepper, red pepper flakes, or paprika, can add extra flavor to your meal.
