Making Your Baked Breaded Pork Chops Recipe

One of the reasons I love this meal so much is that it allows for me to feel like I'm making a nicer meal for my family but I can make it with just a few simple ingredients and have it on the table in under 30 minutes! The breading is nice and crispy on the outside, and the pork chops are tender and juicy on the inside.

    Ingredients

This recipe is so simple and easy to make. All you need is:

    • Pork chops (boneless)
    • Breadcrumbs or panko crumbs
    • Parmesan cheese
    • Garlic powder
    • Parsley

    Instructions

    • In a bowl, stir together the bread crumbs, parmesan cheese, garlic powder and parsley (parsley optional).
    • Pour 2 tablespoons water or milk into a separate bowl.
    • Pat dry each pork chop. Dip the pork chop in the milk or water mixture, than into the breadcrumb mixture. Cover both sides with bread mixture.

    Substitutions

Since I eat gluten free, I often substitute out gluten free panko or breadcrumbs. I've also used this garlic butter crouton recipe before and just crushed them into breadcrumbs.

    Storing

Store leftover pork chops in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) to maintain crispiness.

    Serving

There are several delicious sides you can serve with this baked breaded pork chops recipe. I usually serve a side salad and some rolls but you could also do some air fryer frozen broccoli or a delicious watermelon goat cheese salad.

    • Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the pork chops onto the baking sheet. Bake for approximately 12-14 minutes, then flip the pork chop and cook an additional 12-14 minutes more or until the pork chop reaches an internal temperature of 145 degrees.
    • To Pan Fry:
    • Heat frying pan to medium heat. Add one tablespoon of olive oil and stir around pan. Add the pork chops once the pan is hot and cook for 5-7 minutes or until pork chop is browned. Flip the pork chop and cook the other side until browned and pork chop reaches an internal temperature of 145 degrees.

    • Preheat the air fryer to 380 degrees for 4 minutes. Arrange the pork chops in the air fryer and set timer for 12 minutes. After six minutes, open air fryer and flip the pork chops. Cook an additional 4-6 minutes or until pork is cooked to an internal temperature of 145 degrees.
