    The great thing is these popsicles are made with just a few simple natural ingredients. You only need strawberries, but I love a little chocolate in my strawberry pops so I add some mini chocolate chips for sweetness. These are so simple to make just like our dessert skewer recipe!

    Time to get started on making your strawberry popsicles. Grab your blender and let's get going!

    1. Place strawberries in blender. Blend until smooth.

    Step 4: Pour strawberry mixture into popsicle molds.

      Making these strawberry pops fit a variety of dietary preferences and needs is so easy!

      • Gluten free: This recipe is already naturally gluten free
      • Vegan: Substitute plant based mini chocolate chips.
      • Dairy free: You will want to use dairy free chocolate chips
      • Sugar free: Make sure to use sugar free mini chocolate chips.

      Variations

      There are a couple of fun variations you can make with these popsicles.

      • Mint - In place of the chocolate chips, you can add some mint leaves.
      • Yogurt - add some Greek yogurt into your strawberry mixture for a more creamy strawberry pop!
      • Lemonade - Use equal parts strawberry puree and lemonade for a sweet tangy treat!
      • Banana: Make a strawberry banana pop by mixing together desired amounts of strawberry and banana together.

      Equipment

      You will definetely need some popsicle molds to make this recipe. A blender is helpful too but you can mash the strawberries without a blender too.

      Homemade popsicles can be stored in the freezer for up to 2 months. Keep them in an airtight container or freezer bag to prevent freezer burn.

      Yes, you can mash the strawberries with a fork or potato masher, but the texture will be chunkier.

      What if I don't have popsicle molds?

      Ingredients
        

      • 2 cups strawberries hulled
      • ½ cup mini chocolate chips

      Instructions
       

      • Step 1: Prepare the Strawberries
      • Wash and Hull: Rinse the strawberries thoroughly under cold water and remove the stems.
      • Chop: Cut the strawberries into small pieces to make blending easier.
      • Step 2: Blend the Strawberries
      • Blend: Place the chopped strawberries in a blender or food processor. Blend until you achieve a smooth puree. If you prefer a chunkier texture, blend for a shorter time to leave some strawberry pieces.
      • Step 3: Mix in the Chocolate Chips
      • Combine: Pour the strawberry puree into a bowl and gently fold in the mini chocolate chips, distributing them evenly throughout the mixture.
      • Step 4: Pour into Molds
      • Fill Molds: Pour the strawberry and chocolate chip mixture into popsicle molds, leaving a little space at the top for expansion.
      • Insert Sticks: Place the popsicle sticks into the molds.
      • Step 5: Freeze
      • Freeze: Place the molds in the freezer and freeze for at least 4-6 hours, or until the popsicles are completely solid.
      • Step 6: Unmold and Serve
      • Release Popsicles: To remove the popsicles from the molds, run warm water over the outside of the molds for a few seconds to loosen them.
