Teens and Chik-Fil-A
Ask a teenager what they want and they often go on these kicks. My son was on a pretzel bite kick forever. I was sent to the mall many a time for those expensive little pretzel bites in lieu of getting some babysitting out of him.
My daughter is currently on a Chik fil a kick. She loves the frosted lemonades and always wants those for dessert.
I've envied her. They look so refreshing with the blend of lemonade and vanilla ice cream. She wanted me to know what they taste like and so I headed to the store to find what I needed to make a Chik fil a dairy free frosted lemonade. This was such a simple and easy recipe to make and tasted amazing dairy free.
Ingredients
Again, simple and easy here. You only need a few simple ingredients:
- Vanilla ice cream (dairy free can be substituted)
- Lemonade
- Lemon concentrate
- Lemon zest (optional)
All you need to do is throw all ingredients into a blender and mix together until smooth then pour into a glass to serve!
This will vary a little depending on the type of ice cream and lemonade you use. Typically one frosted lemonade will have about 350 calories.
Frosted lemonade is best served straight from the blender.
