Canned or Fresh Alfredo Sauce?
This is a matter of personal preference! I will usually opt to make a fresh from scratch alfredo sauce. But on weeknights when we are running off to a variety of different activities, even getting a few minutes to cook can be tough! So I'll usually keep a jar of canned alfredo sauce in the cupboard just in case my night gets busy.

Shortcuts
To save even MORE time, you can precook and then freeze your chicken. I'll usually cook up my chicken and ground beef ahead of time and then freeze it an an airtight container to use as needed throughout the week. It saves a TON of time!
Your meat will store easily in the freezer for up to a month so if you want to make an even larger bulk amount you can do that too!
Baking
This recipe is made easily on the stovetop. It's done and ready in under thirty minutes!
Storing
This recipe is best served warm but can be refrigerated for several days in an airtight container and reheated.

Five Ingredient Gluten Free Broccoli Chicken Alfredo
Ingredients
- 1 pound chicken breasts cooked and diced into bite sized pieces
- 1 jar alfredo sauce
- 1 cup fresh or frozen broccoli
- 8 oz spaghetti or linguine pasta cooked
- ½ cup parmesan cheese optional
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions. Add the broccoli the last five minutes of cooking time.
- Drain pasta and heat stovetop pan to medium heat. Add the noodles and broccoli and chicken breasts. Add alfredo sauce slowly until desired amount is reached. Stir and heat.
- Once the mixture is heated, dish out individual portions. Top with parmesan cheese and serve warm.
