These potatoes are a Sunday night favorite at our house and are oven requested alongside our twice baked potatoes by the kids and husband. They pair well with some broccoli or okra and we love them with some ribs, steak, or chicken.

    1. Step 4: Cook the potatoes in the oven for approximately 25-30 minutes at 400 degrees. Flip potatoes halfway through baking time. Remove from oven when potatoes are browned. Serve warm.

    Substitutions

If you have some dietary needs or restrictions, there are some substitutions you can make. These potatoes are naturally gluten free, but if you want to make them vegan or dairy free you will want to use dairy free parmesan cheese.

    Variations

One of the variations you can make is in the spices you use. In place of the parsley, you can use Italian seasoning if you would like. You can also change it up by using some rosemary too.

Another variation is in the cheese by using other hard cheeses like Pecorino Romano or Asiago.

    Storage

Store any leftover potatoes in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat them in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) until crispy, about 10-15 minutes.

    FAQ

Can I use a different type of potato?

Yes, you can use other types of potatoes like Yukon Gold or red potatoes. However, starchy potatoes like Russets tend to give the best crispy texture.

Can I make these potatoes ahead of time?

You can prepare the potatoes up to the point of baking and refrigerate them for up to an hour. These potatoes are best prepped and baked at the same time. Bake them just before serving for the best results.

Can I make these potatoes in an air fryer?

Yes, you can make these potatoes in an air fryer. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and cook the potatoes in a single layer for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
