Are you an okra fan? I always thought okra was slimy and gross but I recently tried it again roasted and thought that it tasted really good! Okra becomes a whole new vegetable when you cook it on high heat. It is nice and crispy on the outside and has a soft consistency on the inside with a robust amount of flavor! (gluten free, dairy free, soy free, nut free, egg free, vegan, vegetarian, FODMAP in small amounts)

Air Fryer Roasted Okra Fries
Ingredients
- ½ pound okra ends trimmed and pods sliced
- 1 tsp olive oil
- ¼ tsp salt
- ⅛ tsp pepper
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 350 degrees.
- In a bowl, combine the okra, olive oil, salt and pepper until combined.
- Place the okra in a single layer in the air fryer.
- Cook in the air fryer for approximately 5 minutes. Toss and cook approximately 5 minutes more. Toss again and cook for 2-3 minutes Serve immediately.
