I know, I know...another side dish? These spicy ranch BBQ wings just had to go on the list too. There was no way around it. These are a must have.
What's so special about these wings?
Simple. Easy. Little to no work.
I always love the sound of that, especially when you have a freaking mega food menu like us. Seriously, I haven't been able to see my countertops since Monday there is so much food. We haven't consumed this much food since Christmas, and I'm a little worried. It may take another week just to eat our way to seeing the counter again.
May your Superbowl be exciting, fun and may anyone but the Broncos win.
Sorry, had to add that one in there. Our family is half and half this year on who should win. Which will make it an exciting Superbowl.
Ingredients
- 4 pounds chicken wings, drummettes or a combination of the two
- ¾ cup hot pepper sauce (we used Frank's)
- ¼ cup butter, melted
- 3 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 envelope ranch dressing mix (we used Simply Organic ranch dip)
- 1 tsp paprika
Instructions
- In a large Ziploc bag, place the wings, drummettes or both.
- In a small bowl, mix together the hot pepper sauce, butter and vinegar. Stir to combine.
- Pour the mixture over the wings in the bag. Seal the bag, then flip the bag several times to toss the chicken in the marinade.
- Place in the refrigerator and allow to sit for 8 hours or overnight.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Remove the chicken from the bag and place on a lightly greased baking sheet.
- Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix evenly over the wings, then the paprika.
- Place the pans into the oven and bake for 35-45 minutes at 350 degrees until the center of the chicken is no longer pink.
- Remove from oven, serve with salsa, guacamole, or ranch dressing.
